ABOUT LIGIA'S ORPHANAGE IN TIMISOARA

Imagine children being left to find shelter in the sewers of a Romanian street market or by the garbage dumps carrying what little belongings they had to try to survive from the cold by themselves. The late Pastor Peter Dugulescu started an orphanage in 1992 by taking in 7 children who were pulled out of the sewers. Currently, the orphanage continues to grow and is run by Pastor Peter’s daughter, Ligia Dugulescu, President of Jesus Hope of Romania. This orphanage is one of the few where brothers and sisters are kept together and not separated.
