Right now, as the brutal winter in Ukraine sets in, we have an urgent need to help the vulnerable. There are many people suffering in the cold with no or limited heat, electricity, or water. We are collecting donations and sending monetary aid to purchase supplies now and hopefully soon, with your help, we will ship a container full of critical supplies to Ukraine via Romania.

The story of Anastasia

It began with a dream to start a pastry shop, then the pandemic hit and now with the war.  Despite Anastasia’s own suffering with constant power outages and the fact that she could not open her business after many tries – she offered her empty shop to serve others as a “Help Center”:  a place for hot meals, charging station for their phones, and to warm up.  

Thanks to your donations, New Hope Compassion was able to provide her a generator and necessary supplies so she can transform her shop to serve the community and become a beacon of hope.  Anastasia’s kindness and our donors’ generosity has touched the hearts of many, and this Help Center has become a symbol of resilience and strength during difficult times.
